      I just went to the grand opening this past weekend for the LSPCA shelter/clinic in Algiers. It was tempting to bring home another dog. There were several that really caught my attention. One was a 4 year old yellow lab at 85 lbs. She was beautiful and probably is already trained.

      Coyotes in slidell.

      I've spotted them 5 times in Gretna, twice running down my street at night, twice behind my fence on a canal (one day, one night). They sound in groups loudly often right across the canal which is between the canal and Engineers Road. They scare easily from people so far.
