I bet her that she couldn't hit a dime at 50 yards in under 10 shots. she nailed it on shot #6 and consistently kept a quarter sized group. it was her first time using a scope or that rifle (she's only shot my old red rider a few times in the past.) no bench vise, just a bag in front with an...
naw, davilla wasn't the name... and blades and barrels wasn't his company. I believe his name was his company, I've seen his name on this site before.... thanx for trying tho.
I am looking for a gunsmith who, I believe, is in the gonzolas/prairieville area. I only know that his first name is Carlos and I believe his last name starts with a "v". I've lost his card and I would like to contact him about a few things. If anyone may know who I am talking about, please...
Everyone around me swears that its impossible to get sick from the flu shot, ive had several throughout the years and i swear i get sick as hell everytime.. and it seems to linger longer than normal. I dont think i will get one.
Looks like im gonna go with the .410 and my family has noticed that im having such a hard time with my decision, they let me pick one more. So i choose the navy colt along with the 410.
Yes the navy colt was well loved. It comes with an old leather holster, belt, two pouches, belt and buckle, oiled leather backpack and a lot of memorabilia. And a bullhorn powder flask that he hand etched a wildlife scene on. Although it was a replica, he went the whole 9. I believe he was...
the 16 gauge's markings are only springfield arms company and pat applied for with 1302 under the barrel. i'm having trouble finding this exact one on the net.
i have a choice of one, and the rest are getting sold in an estate sale.
in order to keep this thread less pic heavy, i will post a more detailed pic of which ever one catches your eye.
from left to right, there is a springfield armory crack barrel side by side 16 gauge shotgun, a win...
it sits ridiculously high (at least 1/4" higher than normal") and, for certain scopes, the spacing doesn't give you much room for play. this scope/ring setup is probably the worst setup for this mount, but it's only for show and tell at the moment. i have a 42mm scope that would look good on...
i got one of these for my eddystone and noticed i could not hold zero on the windage. I was able to grab the scope and shift it from left to right ever so slightly. the mount only has one screw and relies on the ears to keep it stable. There is obviously a small gap. If any of you have this...
the pic above is my second stock, still work in progress. no checkering on this one, only carved basketweave and stippling. my first stock has a finish over the checkering and is on a different thread. i didn't want to overload this thread with duplicate pics.
how would you rank the difference in look and feel of "done by hand" vs. "done by machine"? I would like to see some examples of both and mabye some pro's and cons of the two. I've recently finished my first hand-carved stock and am working on my second one. All free hand. My factory stock's...
that b.s. could've been built in a day. what the hell's the point of a (however the hell high) berm and baffles on a 100 yard range? still has the same ragady ass cinder block "resting" benches i see. nice and comfy on the elbow. guess i'll have to invest in some high tech ear muff's now...
