What brand were the .40 shotshells? Will they cycle through my G23 I wonder?????

Stopped at the Walmart on Oneal earlier. Plenty of Tulammo 7.62x39 ($5.17) and .223 ($5.27). Lots of Winchester 5.56 (~$12) and Brassmaxx .40 FMJ ($20). A few boxes of Tulammo .45 FMJ ($15) and Brassmaxx .45 FMJ ($20). Also saw a decent amount of Prvi .380 (~$15?). I think they had 4 boxes of PDX1 12 gauge ammo at $12.47. Also, had a good amount of WWB 44mag I think.

Cabelas ON LINE has several popular rifle and pistol powder. I needed some IMR 4895 which they have on sale for $25.99 each... limit two plus the $20 hazmat. I've burned more than that in gas driving to the store looking for it....

When I had mine, I shot maybe two or three of these from it:

MAYBE if I was standing on top of a snake and had the gun about 3" above his head, i would trust that the shot would doe something to it. I shot at the target from around 5' and the plastic cover hit close to POA but the shot spread was worse than shooting 410 from a Judge with a laser on it.

If you consider under the barrel so that it doesn't interfere with the sights or the cylinder to be correct, then absolutely.

Friend killed a big cottonmouth (4 feet or so) from about 3 feet away using 9mm shot, and the bb's were more or less focused right on the head (after 3 shots). I think I'd be comfortable with the pattern from 10 feet away (which is where I would have shot it from, like hell I'm getting my hands 3 feet away from the thing)

Cabelas had quite a bit of Herters 7.62x39 both HP and FMJ. They also had 22WM which i haven't seen in quite a while. Also had lots of .45ACP and some .40.
