I was at Bass Pro about an hour ago. There were a few options in .40/.45/.357 but I didn't note prices.

I did note that the handgun selection was mighty slim though. They had the bigger pistols and revolvers, but it was odd to me to see the cases so empty.

I was just looking though.

Turbo, went to Cabelas yesterday. No 5.56/.223, Herter's 7.62x39 for $7 a box, very limited pistol ammo. Only saw aluminum cased 45, saw 4 boxes of WWB 40, isle was so crowded I couldn't get to 9. No magazines. Didn't even bother looking at the guns. I left empty handed.

I was able to get a Century AK variant a few weeks ago. Lucked out. Last Sunday I picked up some of that Herters 7.62x39. For the most part, Cabelas is constantly getting picked.

Very disappointed in the hand selection in Bass Pro also
No 9mm or 5.56
Cabelas has a good bit of 7.62 in stock,no 5.56,didn't even check for 9,40,45
I was to busy checking out some handguns.
Academy on Ambassador yesterday had no Pmags,no 5.56,7.62,9mm

Superior pawn in port Allen had 22lr lrn ammo for 2.75 and 3.00 about 10-15 boxes of each. Spillway sportsman had American eagle .223 for 19.99 a box if you are desperate they had a lancer for $60 bucks too

My local hardware store has .22 lr in stock and luckily has grease in the other side if the store. Mini mags 100- $12, wildcat 50-$5

Jim's on Siegen is 10 cents per round too for the .22lr.

They still had a few boxes of "American Eagle" 9mm at 15 and .380 for 18 (box says Magtech, the rounds have CBC stamped on them)

Walmart in covington has a mossberg .22 tactical on the rack for 239.99. they said they can sell it after 7:30am. if you want it, get there early

Academy in lake Charles has some .223 hornady ballistic tip, bulk cans. Some .223 pdx, and a few boxes of hornady .223. Forgot to get prices, my bad. I was able to grab a few boxes of .22lr but it was going very fast.

Bulk cans of .17 to be had as well.

Academy airline hwy has Winchester 223 60 gr (no price by it, 10 boxes ) and Remington 223 55gr ( 13 boxes 18.99 a box of 20rds. )

Just drove by plant world and they have 22, 223 and 556. They are expensive as all hell. If someone feels they need it, it is there. It is on greenwell springs rd.
