DSA's site does not indicate that things are on backorder when you put them in the shopping cart. If you order something from them don't expect to see it for months.

From what I've read, there was about a 3 month wait on a complete upper... BEFORE the feces hit the rotating oscillator.

I expect to see the upper I ordered in mid January sometime before June... maybe.

I don't like them. It took 2 weeks of badgering them to get my order canceled. And I had to contact them again because when they said they'd canceled it, they never did.

Midway has DPMS 308, 20 round mags in stock for $27.99 limit 2. I ordered mine this morning and got a friend to order two more for me just a sec ago and they are still in stock.

Yeah, they always show up in stock until you try to add them to your cart. Not sure what the issue is.

Trouble finding .223 in bulk, picking one up here or there, 9mm and 45 ACP finding a little better; what are you finding out there?

As usual, Cabelas in Gonzales was pretty empty. Last night had a few boxes of .308 and a bunch of 30-06. Plenty of 7.62x54R. For hand gun absolutely no 9, .40, or .45. No bullets or primers for reloading any of these calibers either.

There was a couple left of a few different brands. Probably about 20 lbs total. Unfortunately as a newbie I didn't know about this forum until it was too late. I will be a little more diligent in gathering details on my next trip.
