21 handguns stolen

Last nightin ville platte industrial sales and services was robbed of 21 handguns.
They cut a hole through the wall entered smashed the glass on the display cabinet grabbed what they could andleft .

With having gone through the ATF'S process of getting our FFL, The first question from them on there recent visit was....
Do you have a safe? YES
Remember to always lock it up. OKAY

Not to mention insurance, ATF, local police and such, having to explain why.

Yes.. it would have mattered. Cutting a hole in a wall and cutting open a safe are two totally different things.

I hate to hear that this happened, but guess what? Its a pain in the ass to load and unload a safe everyday but its the price you pay... or someone steals your **** and thats the price you pay.

Especially since they prolly knew just what they were after and that it was "protected" behind glass.
They may not have even broken in if they knew they had to defeat a safe.

Depends on the building. The big thing in nola is breaking into a vacant building that adjoins an occupied one, then come through the Sheetrock. If its only them in a concrete or brick building I see your point, if its vynil siding that I could bust through in 30 seconds with a hammer I think the safe would've helped. This is the criminals fault, but its also stupid and lazy that enabled this.

thats like a real bummer opening up to that .... seeing a hole in the store and missing merchandise ....
