    anybody else going?

If I do not party too hard tnight, I will be there.

    I need to work.

The guy putting it on called me last night. Just as Smith625 posted .22 only this go round.
.22 pistol & Rifle. Separate classes for iron sights & optics. You can shoot iron in the optics but not the other way around.

It should be a whole lot of fun especially for the money.

yeah, I miss old Ray Bear out at St Bernard Indoor Shooting. That was a special place. I shot the plates there a couple of times.

I was wondering if anyone here knew about that place. I just came across this thread searching for Ray Bear.

I couldn't make it, but last Saturday (Aug. 21 2010)the SMGA gun range in Pearlington put on their monthly NRA approved smallbore rifle matches. Targets are silhouette.
They allow optics in one match: standard, hunter...and restrict the other match...Cowboy Match is what they call it...to tube-fed/iron sights lever-action preferred I think.
The July club newsletter said it's held every 3rd Sat. 8:15 setup & practice...first match starts at 9:30AM
