The Academy in Covington and Slidell are equally as barren. But a few weeks ago I was passing through Slidell and visited Sportsmans Warehouse to check for ammo. They had plenty of shotgun ammo but the amount of firearms shocked me. I walked up to the handgun area and their whole wall was filled with handguns. Many were 2 or 3 deep on peg board hangers. I asked if they had any P365s, which I had been looking for since covid but found none, and he showed me where they were on the wall. They had 2 SAS, 3 regular and 2 with manual safeties. they also had a couple of XLs. I asked to see the regular model and the guy saw a slight blemish on it and brought me another. I played with it and asked if I could try the trigger and he said OK, unlike Academy. How much? $499. I'll take it. Before covid I could maybe have picked one up for $450 but $499 seemed like a great price at the moment. By the time my wife got back it was a done deal and she was happy for me. I'm a lucky guy.
