    Brand new to this site. I have a Millennium PT-140. It shoots without any problems but it does have what I call a safety flaw which I'm sure many have heard of before. The gun has a frame mounted manual safety which can be engaged "cocked and locked" or engaged without a cartridge in the chamber. The slide nor the trigger works with the safety on. If one depresses the trigger 1/8th of an inch and then engages the safety the trigger can be fired even though the safety is engaged. Not something a knowledgeable gun owner would do I agree but it is possible. Scary to me - A supposedly gun on safe that will fire possibly hurting the shooter and anyone in the line of fire. And the gun would be destroyed either way right. I've tried it without bullets and it will (fire) with the safety on????

    While I like their autoloading pistols, the 44mag revolver I had did not pass muster.
    It got beat to hell with reduced power reloads!:eek3:
    I own the following & have had very good results with shooting these;
    PT38S in 38 super, sorta like a SIG & a Walther in one.
    PT1911 in 45 auto. Just don't like the Heine sights or that matte black finish.
    PT99AFS in 9mm, just an updated clone of the Beretta 92

    I can only recommend the three autoloaders.
    Look elsewhere for a 44mag revolver.

    Love my PT-140. Bought it for my wife but she wants something in a smaller caliber. So I'm going to start carrying the PT-140 and get her a G26 with my GSSF certificate.
