When I did the test drive the sales manager said you get a 2500.00 state tax credit and a 7500.00 federal tax credit.
Time to replace my wife's daily driver, She's easy on cars. Her current car is a 2001 Mitsu. Galant. still ticking, but it's time for something new.
Her commute is less than 25 miles and her total daily driving is less than 35.
The idea of possibly never buying gas again is attractive.
Thanks for the info.
Guess I'm going to take a test drive.
MSRP is 40K. You get the Tax Credit which wacks that down some.
So wait, we're going to be paying for his car? Awesome. When I did the test drive the sales manager said you get a 2500.00 state tax credit and a 7500.00 federal tax credit.
the 70k is complete BS. that is putting all the battery and motor development cost towards the Volt alone. that tech will be used for many more vehicles. Its Fox being "suprisingly" biased against the car. Any losses are small.
So why perpetuate it?
