Dave, you don't have to try to annoy anyone. I'm thinking it comes natural to you. Do you have control issues at home? Just trying to figure out why every one of your post are so condensing.
Just wanted to respond to dave_m.
So we can get back on track... (or not)
I'd advise that you check the things mentioned earlier (gas block alignment, bolt catch, magazine catch). Anyone who reloads should know how their rifle works.
Send me a PM sometime. I don't bite.
Your obviously very knowledgable, good to see you'll put that knowledge to good use helping others.
On a side note; I'm not the least bit concerned with your bite.
Now back to our regularly scheduled thread.......
You're
Fixed it for you're reading enjoyment
I also didn't use proper punctuation
First the grammar popo and now Dave. The your/you're and a misspelled word seams fairly childish to me.
Standard DPMS buffer tube, buffer and spring. Magpul fixed stock.

Emojis are commonly accepted instead of periods. I left "you're" alone, because then your joke wouldn't make sense.

It is. Children commonly misspell words.

I don't think the standard buffer will work, it's too long. Just a tad.
So again, if anyone knows a quality AR gunsmith on the Northshore, please let me know. If not, move on.
This is why my OP asked a simple question... who is a known, quality AR gunsmith on the Northshore. I did not ask for a diagnosis of this rifle's functioning problems through this forum because of what just transpired. On-air diagnoses are iffy at best. I have checked the usual potential causes of FTF, and come up with nothing specific. So again, if anyone knows a quality AR gunsmith on the Northshore, please let me know. If not, move on.
Never used them before, but I've heard of Ruelet Gun Works in Covington. http://www.reuletgunworks.com/
Honestly, you can diagnose and fix the problem for far less than any gunsmith will charge you. Your money to burn, chief.
