They should definitely get the taste of what they put that man through, bunch of despicable, rotten liars. These people are supposed to uphold the law, not to bend it to their liking and benefit. Actions like these make the rest of the LEO community look bad.

I was once falsely arrested and held for over 12 hours before being able to make bail and it took a long time for me to get everything cleared up and dropped....cost me quite a bit of money as well. Other than that I have never had any dealings with the police besides the little traffic violation tickets they like to hand out like candy to extort more money from tax payers...the fact is the police do have a great deal of power but with that comes great responsibility and accountability..that is why I fully support everything they do to be filmed at all times....car cams, body cams, cameras in every room of the police building....be accountable

this is not "one alleged stupid act"...it's not alleged at all correct? This is documented through video & paper documentation. Isn't it?

But I can see the concern that this might open a hole for actual criminals to get off with their wrongdoings. it's the nature of the beast it seems. the line of 'better 10 guilty men go free than one innocent man be jailed' is the line that must be walked I suppose.

Ultimately, I do not believe just b/c "all the good, solid cases these folks were involved with that can be called into question" is enough of a reason to let this act slide by ANY means (if that is what you were implying, if not I apologize). The people involved should be held accountable to the highest degree possible.

Same as the dirtbags, they should have thought about that before engaging in these unlawful actions! It is much more difficult for politicians to hide their corruption these days. They are just going to have to pay the piper like anyone else caught breaking the law.

Agreed with everything posted. I'm just responding to the crapstorm in Washington Parish right now. It's very likely that someone that now deserves to be in prison may walk because of their (alleged) stupidity.

...and as to the video. I watched it and it is very hard (for me) to make out what is happening. I'm withholding judgement at the moment until a grand jury becomes involved or more details of the civil case unfold.
