    26 nodular?

They're over priced IMO. Can have a rifle built for much less and just as good. With Christiansen you're just paying for the carbon fiber aspect.

Not sure how easy 26 Nosler Ammo is to find. Just looked at the specs too... 140gr bullet at 3300fps muzzle velocity is pretty extreme. It would have to be pretty tough on barrel life.

If you like the 6.5mm round, maybe a 6.5 creedmoor may be a better option based on avalibility of factory Ammo.

Never owned one, but Christensen Arms rifles are pricey. Before I would drop that much $$$$ on one, I would have a reputable smith build me a custom.

I just built a Carbon fiber .308 win full custom with a CF stock for a client in Missouri that weighed 5.8# with a fully loaded mag. It cost him $2,800 delivered. It shot 1/4 MOA when I proofed it. This rifle had some really "custom" features on it. These rifles have a bunch of swing in price, depending on what you want in it. If you wanted a Chris Rifle with the same options it would run about $1000 more. If you're interested I'd be glad to get you a quote. All American Gunsmithing (225)244-1686

By the way,All my rifles have an unlimited lifetime warranty on workmanship and custom components.

We have one customer playing with loading for the 26 Nosler and it's as hard on brass as it is on the gun. You can get components but they are not cheap. If you can pay for the rifle the rounds are the cheap part. It is a good flat shooting round, however it's gonna be hard on barrel life. Have fun with it.
