It's getting deep! I'm dry for now, but water is steadily rising. Some neighborhoods are under a few feet of water and FD and PD are using boats to evacuate people. How is it in the rest of the state?

At noon today the water level in the street in front of my house in Walker was 28" but all the houses are much higher and never flood. A neighbor in a 4WD Dodge Diesel chose to park his truck nearby and walk to his house.

The water at the office is well into the parking lot now, and over Greenwell Springs rd now. Water is receding in my neighborhood.

Tangi river is supposed to rise to 24.5 feet we flooded in March and we we underwater by 22 feet. I'm packing my chit box truck in route. Anyone want to buy a house? I sell to anyone who wants it.... bellow market.

I'm in Central and I'm high and dry. Most of my property is a lake.
There are a lot of houses in Central flooded right now that never saw water before.

The City needs to look at this and slow down some building of new subdivisions. New Walmart went up on Hooper and lots of houses in Morgan Place West are under. This is BS.
Pretty soon we will be called the Lake at Central.

Agreed, We just built a brand new school and it's already overpopulated. The city gov screwed up for sure. We're quickly losing that country feel.

I live east of Watson on 1019, high and dry so far, but there was more water in the area than I've ever seen (been here since 1985). Now the ditches seem to be receding, guess we'll see what happens tonight/tomorrow!
