I took these from my stand on November 4th.

I had him at 40 yards with my bow and let him walk. He needs another 2 years to grow up.

a fawn earlier this morning around Ethel. Saw 3 all had spots, so my first hunt of the came back empty handed. Took a little while to get the scope and phone lined up...

Found a nice tree to sit in for a while. Crap ton of wood-ducks were chilling in the creek all day, had I had the 12ga I think I could have bagged 3-4 with a single shot. Im trying to be patient this year, so nothing has been downed yet.

Two mornings in a row I had coyotes fly by my stand wide-open....no deer. Imagine that....

But it was some fine weather....I'm going with a buddy this weekend up by Clinton- 8pts or better/or 14" inside minimum...We'll see what happens, I guess....

133 Lbs. Perfect neck shot at 25 yards with ole' trusty (Browing BAR 30.06). She dropped like a bag of bricks! And, interestingly enough; she was being nudged by a 4 point. Looks like it (rut), may come earlier than ususal.

Our bucks don't usually start chasing until long after Christmas.

I BET SHE DID! Neck shot is hard to pass up- especially when you don't feel like blood trailing one in the rain...

Depends on where you hunt. I am across the street from Area 6 in Area1 ; their bucks run clean through to February (mine too), but I need to stop Jan 31! They get to shoot sticks at them till February 15!?!

I got two does off of this tripod Satuday evening. 250yd shot and they had no clue where it was coming from (suppressed in MS).

And this morning I decided to climb in a nice comfy box. So far nothing yet.

I've literally NEVER deer hunted in LA. It's bizarre seeing palmettos and such in these pics.
