As with all things in life, an issue has come up which requires my attention. Unfortunately, I will not make it in the morning. Have fun.

What, no doggie bag from Nagoya?

I'll miss you anyway. I'll try to shoot some X's in your honor.

Of course I'm not there yet. My shooting buddy had some things come up so I helped him get his brass prepped. Hopefully we get there & the weather is good.

Nagoya was alright, but not great.

Put 'em all in the X for me, I can use the help.

    Have fun.

Well, it was another good match with the exception of the inch or so of rain we got in 5 minutes! I was well pleased that I shot the best score I ever have, beating out last month's score by 6 points! I KNOW I can improve some more on my wind calling and even though I missed 1st place by only 1 point it was another educational match and as always I learned some invaluable information from the "old guns" who hand out their nuggets of wisdom when asked.

    I had fun. I picked up 19 points and 1 more X.
I shot an X for a sighter - so it didn't count - it did feel good.
    Lowest shot was a 7.
Still had a miss. The miss is quite a bummer.

    534-6 final score.

    The miss will haunt me.

The worst thing about the match is there are so many people you would like to visit with more, but you have to do something like shoot or score or work targets.

At first I thought I could never just watch a match. After shooting 2 matches it would be more interesting to observe.

F Class T/R is a great class to shoot in. The equipment is easier to get together. You don't even need too good of a spotting scope.

Good to see some of the guys again. I got to meet Tulse Luper. I can tell we could have some fun shooting together.

Not wanting to screw up my perfect record of being dead last at just about every firearms match I shoot, I shot a 506-6x. The match was a great learning experience and a kick in the ass. Nice meeting all the BS people, s.i.t., RDO, Ritten and another shooter who's screen name I missed.

Everyone out there was helpful and ready to teach.

I learned a lot. Now it's time to shop for a shooting mat. Oh, next time, I think I'll go ahead and set parallax to 600yds instead of leaving it at 100. That was one dopey, newbie move. :eek3:

If you shot a 506-6x with the parallax set to 100yds instead of 600, then maybe I should try setting mine to 100. I might have to get some of that nickle plated brass also.

I even learned some things while working the targets. Just being around some of the better shooters you'll pick up a tip or 2.
