I now believe that my mutli gun needs are not fullfilled unless we shoot an entire box of shells in a stage. Therefore I request that each month we have at least one "Epic Shotgun Box-O-Shells" stage that requires a minimum of 25 birdshot.

Everyone in our squad seem to enjoy the Epic Shotgun Stage yesterday, with the exception of HighCapMag, who proved that you can get Benellli Thumb from an M3 Super 90 (aka Real Combat Shotgun)

Congrats to Gordo and all the winners, and WELCOME to all the new shooters. I hope everyone had fun.
Thanks to all that came out to play.
Many thanks to everyone for pitching in to help.
Thanks to the cooks for the great food. I brought the left over BBQ sauce home.
Thanks to Johnny for the cleaning efforts. He picked up alot of trash, we need to be more aware of the trash we leave behind, and clean up.
And, a special thanks to KZ45 for adding a whole new meaning to the stage name

Man, i was smoking fast on that shotgun stage! :D

It's great to come and shoot this match, I learn a lot every time I come... This was my 3rd 3-gun match ever and so far by far my favorite! Epic stages :eek3:.

LOL, love the last stage Joe!

Did your rifle crap out on you on the three gun stage?
Ammo or mag problem, but it locked up twice on me, then I made it worse by racking it before dropping to mag and caused a double feed, then a round was sticking out the mag straight up that I had to rip out with my teeth:wtc:

Fun times had by all. Special thanks to Paul for cooking and bringing that awesome bbq sauce.

On another note can everyone please take a look at this attached score sheet and make sure I got the penalties right and provide comments. I really want to have this ready for next time.

Why do you have 5 seconds by a steel, isn't a miss a miss?

Do we ever have more than 22 targets?

Maybe you can have an additional worksheet for targets 23+ when necessary

    Looks great overall.

alrighty. Fixed the steel penalties. I'm thinking of moving the faults. If a shooter is outside a shooting area and starts engaging targets should he get a fault (procedural) for each target shot or only 1 for the entire array? Its been awhile and I can't remember.

Just off hand, it looks good, but, it needs a place for steel, possibly like a USPSA sheet with a box on the left of the collum for hit, and another on the right for missed steel.
Could also use a box for "High Value Targets" with a box for hits and misses. Targets past 200 yds have double penalties for misses (+20), FTEs(+30).
    Thanks for working on it.

I think it should be per target engaged. That way you can remedy the situation and not get as many penalties. One example would be if you were suppose to engage one array of steels in box A and then proceed box be and engage array B, but forgot to engage array A from box A and ran to box be and started engaging array A. If you stopped and went back to box A before you shot all of the steel, you would not get the additional penalties, but if you shoot them all, you should get a procedural for each steel engaged from the wrong box.

We have done at least 8 long range shots. Maybe you could go to 10 on the first sheet and have additional on the additional page

You don't really need a box to score hits on steel/clays/flashers, mainly misses. Hits will just be part of the raw time.

Fishinfool is missing his timer used last on Gerald's stage. Does anyone know who ran it last, or where it got put after the stage was finished?

    Thanks guys.

Was definitely an awesome day. Who needs a Super Bowl when you have Epic shotguns stages! Thanks for all those that arrived early and set up the match. I look forward to next month and learning more from guys like Gordo on how to "interpret" the rules. ;).

    See ya soon. :boink:

Hey guys found the timer. It got stuffed with my first aid kit.

Here's the newest rev on the score sheet. There is two versions. Please advise.
