I just bought a Five-seveN USG today. After reading thought that entire post up until last night around 10:30.

I've also been lurking there for about three months, I agree with Medula Oblongata's opinion that the three or four KBs with Five-seveNs and PS90s are flukes.

I have no problem shooting mine, and once I get it broken in, it will likely be my EDC.

Besides, It'll be a good long while before I start reloading. If it does blow up, I'll have a damn good lawsuit.

There is a story of a Glock 21 over on the Firing Line 14 Forum that blew like this. Either it fired out of battery of it was an overload.

I once fired a double charged a .45 in a 1911. It blew out the mag and swelled the pistol grip (steel lined), but the SS frame was undamaged. I think I will avoid poly frames.

I watched a guy crack the frame on a brand new H & K USP using gunshow reloads. We thought the guy was shooting a .40. It turned out to be a 9mm.

There is alot of discussion about the FN Five-Seven. I thought about buying one, but from what I have read I changed my mind.
