Getting ready for bed about 30 minutes ago, I move my PF9 in its holster from my work desk to my nightstand. Even with a good grip on the holster, as I open the nightstand drawer, I drop the gun. Probably 5 feet to the floor. I tried to move out of the line of fire, but that muzzle followed my face exactly the whole way down.
Nothing happened. I'm still here, and I'm thankful for hammer block safeties. But now I can't sleep. I'm pissed off that I dropped it, and even with the safeties in place, I still feel like I'm lucky to be alive. I hate those "what if" situations. They make my mind race.
Tell me I'm not the only one on here that had this happen to them.
