Find one that "fits" your hand. ie: finger reaches the trigger comfortably, and allows a proper grip. (in line with the forearm) Consider The triggers, single action, Double action, or a combination Pick out several that you like, shoot them if possible first. )(some ranges have rental or loaners for folks looking to buy) When you settle on one read reviews on reliability. Karr, Smith and Wesson, Glock, Springfield armory, Sig, Ruger and the list goes on. (you can also consider revolvers, simple to use)
