    Back on hold with AT&T test center.
    So far tonight it has been about 1 hr hold time to get a tester that can't tell me anything, but can escalate the ticket.

    I WANT TO GO HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I NEED A NEW JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My normal shift is 8a to 5p Mon. to Fri.
    Yesterday Thursday I worked 8a to midnight on some equipment upgrades.
    Today Friday I came in just after 9a, and I can't leave till AT&T fixes my T-1.
    In the last 6 hrs I have been on hold with AT&T for 4.5 hrs. Current call 27 min and counting.
    This is not the first time going through this with AT&T.

    Once they dispatch the local technician he will get it fixed, if the problem is in the local CO, but they can't seem to get a tech dispatched!

    I'm not sure about that.

    I once had a PRI go down about 3:30 pm, testing could find the problem and didn't dispatch a tech until after around 11 pm.
    Tech worked onsite until around 3 am before they realized the problem was a cut fiber they were already working on.
    AT&T techs call in on a different number but get in the same queue as customers.
    It took the tech 30-40 minutes to get someone on the phone.
    He was just as frustrated as me.

    My favorite is when you give them specific instructions to call you when they do dispatch someone, they don't and they come and go canceling the ticket because the customer was not there. I have many stories about att and the bad thing is, is that they all are about the same.

    Yea, hourly. If I was salaried I would have been REALLY upset.

    Once I verify that all the images from yesterday have uploaded to the remote server, I'll be done.

    Oh, you mean you weren't. Missed that with all the yelling. :D

    You mean because the customer wasn't there right?
