Hey, I resemble that remark! I have been woking too much......you're absolutely right. Tell Rick that I'm taking a vacation and his rifle will be done in a couple of months.
    Another vacation?

Be sure to send pictures from your vacation spot! And don't worry if you see drones flying overhead. They're working for Google Earth. Yeah, that's it.

    See everyone in the morning.
Weather should be great. Looks like 4mph winds out of the east at start time swapping up to a south wind at 6mph by noon.
Be careful driving in. Looks like we will have a great turnout.

Great day at Palo Alto. A very big thank you Taylor and Jerry for your help today. I did not know what to expect shooting my first rifle match…….the 600 YD shooting experience was awesome and the company was even better. I was completely satisfied with My performance and the AR-15…..my 558-7X was better than I expected.

I will see you guys again next month.

    Eddie.

You survived shooting next to Ritten and the .338L, so you can handle anything!
Great shooting for youe first time and we look forward to seeing you next month.

Same here, Thanks Rick, Mickey and Ted for your work/time in running these matches. It was great to see such a good turn-out. Good to rub elbows with the fine shooters at Palo. Hope to see you guys next time.

Field Precision Rifle Match 6/8/2013 at Palo Alto
Our June FPR match at Palo Alto is in the books. We had 26 shooters in attendance, some of which were first time shooters at a 600Y match. One first timer was Ashley Kosturock, shooting a DPR F-Open rig, posting up an expert class score of 568-11x. Great shooting Ashley! We hope to see you on the line again soon. It was great to see the Hickman family make it out to this match too. Sarah posted up an impressive 546-6X shooting in the no bag class. The temperature warmed up quick after the first string of the day, and the winds of Palo (and Ted’s muzzle brake on his .338L cannon) kept everyone from getting complacent.

In the FPR No Bag Class, Jim Speaks continues to set the pace with a 582-14X to take the first place finish. Brian Alexander was right on his heals with a score of 578-16X finishing in the second place slot. That is some awesome shooting without a rear bag.

In the FPR rear bag class, Alton Britt sealed the deal on a first place finish with a 588-25X. Mickey Brinkman took second with a 580-15X.

With 8 shooters in the F Class Practice class, we awarded a first and second place medal as well. CJ Britt takes the first place, posting the best score of the day, shooting a commanding 592-27X. John Bishop comes in with a strong second place finish shooting a 588-20X.

Thanks go out to everyone for a safe match. We hope that everyone enjoyed the match as much as we did.
    See everyone next month,
    Mickey, Rick, & Ted
