    It makes me happy.

Not quite to .500 I was think about, but more than enough to make for the 9mm I carried for a while.

<edit>Sorry about the pic being sideways. I tried, but couldn't make it work. Mabbe some admin could give me a hand?</edit>

I never liked the 1911 in the past. Now I really like them. Something about guns that are made to a spec & brand is not so critical that I like. 1911s & ARs are 2 examples where parts & mags are readily available & interchangeable (for the most part). Military heritage is not a bad thing.

Nice Pistol - Can I have your brass?

Already did. Bought the mag well ramp thingie while I was there. Maybe somebody could give me an actual name for it?
I kinda thought so, but SA does have a factory one as well so I wasn't sure.

And you got it, it's called a magwell. There's different types in regards to mounting, however most are attached to the mainspring housing, like yours. These are generally referred to as MSH/Magwell combos.

If you gunna get one, get a good one and I do believe that is a good one. My first was a 70 series Combat Commander with a few target tricks in it. Sold it many moons ago and regret it everyday.
