Thanks for the info, fellas. I'll probably take it out to Nick's in a few weeks. Herohog, I did see a video on youtube about that. If it ends up being painful with 2 3/4, I'll get the full stock Knoxx with double recoil absorption.

Plus, the forward pressure with the off hand, from what I've read again, lessens the "speed pump" mechanism, which helps cycle these shells better.

Idunno, I can put 12 Aguila mini-shells in the tube. You can get them from ammunitiontogo.com over in TX. They come in 2 days, but shipping cost sucks. There is a guy at every gun show that sells them. But, gmshooter here on the forums can get them at a good price. A box of 20 bird shot runs about $10.

Leethar, yeah, man. I told you I would change some things up. I am tempted to have "Frankenstein" inscribed on it. Thanks again for the good deal.

I like it! What may not be practical for some is for others. When it comes to guns- the sky's the limit, IMHO. Nice job!

Please be careful with that safety, though. ;)

If you like it, go for it. I keep my bedside 870 down to 18" barrel, factory extended tube, Hogue overmolded stock and fore-end, and as many rounds of 2 3/4" Federal Tactical 00B it will hold.

Moving the FCG into the traditional position and adding a true pistol grip, etc.

    .

Yea...I'm tryn to get there....cool gun, I don't want to mess with the SBS poleeece tho...

So I gotta work on the FCG move now I guess

What I'm working toward is a 50 to 100 yd weapon...with massive firepower, ( for small arms I mean )

Is moving the FCG a plus for that ??

    Whats good ??

Read some on Saiga Forum....but been here longer

There are several really good tutorials on there for the do it yourselfers.

    It's not that involved.

And as was said earlier, the real plus is the better trigger group.

The one you have now is just a folded, tack welded piece of sheet metal and I really don't know how long it will hold up even though the Saiga is soft shooting compared to an 870 or 500/590.

Or you can get someone to do it for you.

Spanky had his done by Rockmup who is a member here and Red Jacket can handle it too.
