No it wasent the guns fault it was mine the load that squibbed was factory but the round that dislodged the sqibb was a reload.Any chance Glock will replace the barrel? It may be worth a call to ask if you can get a new barrel free or at a discount. New ammo. or reloads?
Can you provide more details of what happened when the squib load met a new round in the chamber?
It wasnt me at the BZ it happend at a match in chalmette.

Thanks for the tip JPB55 Tony44 should be sending it out tomorow.tony44 on Glock Talk has a new unused G23 barrel, two ten round mags and a recoil spring for a G23 all shipped for $100.
I think there was another .40 that had a case rupture previous to Bam's problem. I know the guy just didn't get the story yet. Pretty sure the shooter was OK & the gun went on with no damage.
I had a case rupture on a .22 pistol. It was the rim that split. That totally convinced me of 2 things. You need to always have the safety glasses on. Even when other shooters are in a different pistol bay. You do not want case ruptures.
Bad day for the Glock fo-tays.
