    At the risk of offending the ones here, I feel the strong need to say that I will never, ever sell another gun to an attorney...
    That’s all I have to say about that.

    I am not an attorney but I have used similar paperwork in bill of sales esp if I am buying the gun. I make the seller sign that they are the lawful owner etc....

    After reading and having no background info of the situation. Seeing the docs with notary inclusions, I could not help but wonder if this is not some trial balloon by someone wishing to present to legislation. If in future, notary has to be included in private purchase it would be a huge PIA, some would love to see it.

    I’d have told him/her to pound sand and walked. I’ll show my ID and sign a basic bill of sale but that’s more paperwork than a dealer requires. What they’re asking is arrogant and disrespectful in my opinion.
