The FRA, Federal Railroad Administration, is the gov't regulatory body for the railroads in the US. There is also a group that we named FRN for F' ing Rail Nuts. They would come out when you repainted a locomotive, had a train hauling a new coal car or just because the sun came out somewhere in the world. They have conventions and local get togethers. They giggle like school girls when you flashed them a copy of the timetable or new cover for the rule book.
