Quick AR help needed

I'm hunting with my son and noticed something that's not right with my new Bison upper. Shot great during break in but while in the stand, I noticed 2 thin washers sliding along the barrel between the gas block and barrel attachment. I have pics but can't seem to upload from here. Can text if needed.

What are these and is it safe to shoot?

Dont shot it! They might be the delta rings that attach the barrel. Have it checked out before you shot it again.

The delta rings do not attach the barrel.

I'm betting it's nothing serious, please try and get some pics up.
