No clubs that I know of, but I've shot with a bunch of people from 'round these parts, even that Speedracer guy. He is not the most hygienic guy, but he has some good guns.
Shooting a USPSA match is also a great way to mingle with gun peeps.
A match, or even better a training class (check the Training subforum for upcoming dates) is a good way to meet folks and improve your shooting. Like Tulse said, there's no formal "clubs" I'm aware of. You could always also just post in the Meets and Events forum, works even better if you're looking to try out a certain gun since everyone loves showing off their toys.
Guns isnt't an issue, I have plenty! I guess the idea was to meet some like minded individuals. Im not a bad shot by any means, but could always be better.
I always viewed BayouShooter as a club. Sure it's state-wide (and then some), but it's already a means of setting up local shoots, etc. I typically shoot at Honey Island on the northshore, and will simply post a "Hey I'm headed to Honey Island on _________" thread and usually a few peeps will meet up out there.
