well previous email talked about handgun of the year awards so im guessing it will be a handgun. Time couldn't be better for a 1911, but it will probably just be there version of the judge

reading on some ruger forums there is alot of speculation about a polymer 1911. which would be pretty lame in my opinion

Im going to bet that Ruger will announce their 1911. They are heavy in the cowboy matches and with the Wild Bunch matches growing in popularity at the cowbowy matches and it being the 100 year birthday of the 1911 its the easy pick. Just my opinion though. We shall see.

I'm sure. Honestly, I will be disappointed if it's a 1911 with a big ole warning billboard on the slide. They could do a roll mark with the ruger logo and small print, that would be great.... nix the warnings. It's a gun, you should know they are dangerous.

Jeff Quinn of Gunblast announced that he would have a simultaneous video and review available when Ruger introduces the new, must have, super duper ????? at 2 o'clock today. He has now said that the review will be set back until tomorrow (?) due to the necessity of more trigger time.
