125 each with transfer. They were labeled as good by SOG and I would agree. Wood is beat to hell but both of mine still have 95% of the bluing left. A couple of bad pits from rust here or there but the rifling on both is very strong. I am happy with mine.

I have to say I was very pleased with how this turned out. When I picked up my rifle yesterday, it went smoothly and the FFL was great (I'll definitely be back when his store is fully operational). That said, I know nothing about these rifles (first C&R) but in my opinion, it looks great. I'll post pics tomorrow when I have time. Right now I'm researching how to start cleaning this critter up!

I tore both down last night. It was the dirtiest I have ever seen cosmoline in my life! I am glad it was there though, not one speck of rust under the stock at all.

Clean them? It's not like the ammo is corrosive. Oh, wait...

Lol. I'll probably do rifle then shotgun then pistol.

Yea if you just take a bottle of ammonia based window cleaner(windex or other), you spray it down the bore and your good, the ammo I have is al corrosive, but I just picked up some 5.45 that is non-corrosive...

Best I can get with the stock but that only one coat of oil many coats to follow.
All the metal was good just one little rust spot the size of a BB. Trigger was crisp and light, bolt was smooth, and the bore excellent. If it looks better after all the coats I will re-post. I buffed the bolt and it also was in great condition. No complaints here
    Thanks

Well the T53's were pretty good, it shot great, but the action is very very rough, so I bought a 20 ga bore brush, and some light polish, so I am going to polish the chamber lightly, and the bolt componets too, the stocks I am leaving alone... hopefully they smooth up now...

I hookek up the 20gauge brush and used my drill to polish up the chamber I put penetrating oil on the brush and and i didn't do it lightly. It sure helped
Unfortunatly I dont have a drill, and cant afford one right now (if I get one I will buy once with decent quality), but I need to do that, and polish the caming surfaces on the bolt, as it helped alot when I pulled the cocking handle back on the mosin before opening the bolt, so its rough inside...
