Pascagoula, Mississippi and the restaurant was the Hucks Grill. I usually try out many different restaurants because I usually don't like to cook in my hotel room. Good burgers if you're ever in the area.

Wow, glad to hear it didn't end differently, I know a LEO who was out of town on a golf trip with other LEO's this same scenario happend to, but when he went and got his weapon he begged them to another step, he said it would have made for a better story if they would have. This is what happens when you think with the wrong head for sure.

Read this last night and first thing I thought was thought was "something ain't right with this story". I've read it again this morning and it still seems strange. I'm also wondering why crew dawg won't name the town and bar. Don't know the guy and as far as I know he's honest but just answering a few questions would go a long ways. I posted an incident that happened a year or two ago when a stranger who was under the influence came to my house with my family there and wanted to use the phone. I offered to call for him but he wanted in and it got pretty tense for awhile. I had my Ruger SR9C in my hand and he saw it and he was still brazen. It ended good because he finally went away but at no time during this incident did I ever think " let me grab my phone and start recording " and this guy was on the outside of my house. I can't imagine that a person who is confronting two a--holes who broke into his room has enough composure to start recording the incident with his phone. I'm just an average Joe with no special traing so maybe a person is capable of doing what he said he did. I'll apologize if this proves to be true, but some more questions should be answered. If no answers are given, why would someone post a thread like this ?

It sure is a good thing you had a gun!

I worked the "turnarounds" for a few years and I've seen this happen and have heard plenty of horror stories from the older guys.

Lucky it was a MS job! When I was working in IL it was illegal to have a firearm in your possession period, without a F.O.I.D. card. They won't even let you buy ammo or hold a gun in a gun store without it!
The bad guys know that. They look for out-of-state plates in the parking lots of bars, restaurants, and hotels.

I appreciate you filling in the blanks and I applogize. Now I'd like to hear a little more of what the police had to say and if they caught them. How about the video from the hotel, what did that look like ?

For y'all doubting the story, I met crewdawg at Interstate Guns yesterday, and we discussed it. I even heard the audio recording, which was chilling to say the least. There's a lot of good points to take away from the incident, namely the misconception that just pointing a gun at someone is enough. Even with a Glock trained on them, you could still hear the bad guys challenging/testing crewdawg with zero fear. If he hadn't handled it the way he had (maintaining control of the situation and escalating his verbal commands with each challenge) it could have still ended up ugly. And then there's the main takeaway...don't let the poon cloud your better judgement. ;)

Nice meeting you yesterday crew, and thanks for sharing.

    Well, God has spoken.

There is always a possibility of this happening when you pick up women of the night.

If sharing his experience helps one person then it's great he shared, I'm sure getting the validity of his story questioned really makes him feel like sharing more. Can we all be gun enthusiasts with common interests. Instead of the clique mentality of one group is better than another?

FWIW, my post was meant as a joke. I never miss the chance to make a fat hooker joke.

If it takes an Internet forum to teach you to not pick up whores then you might want to get out more
