Well, I take away from this a reaffirming that our votes do matter- and that we have the last word. High turnout numbers from an energized, pissed off voting base will always overcome fraud and the partisan media. If ever there was an election where the "chosen" candidate would win no matter what- this was it. It did not happen.

Thanks to millions of folks just like us, the country just got taken back. Great job, guys.

This just restores my faith in the American people . We made the right choice despite what CNN kept saying....
What a nice day...I want to go out and buy a gun.
All of those persons who don't like our new president are welcome to pack up and leave for whatever country they want to.... I might be a Deplorable but I'm an American and proud of it.

This dumbass decide to chide Trump; now she lost a Senate seat. Idiot!

    iu

I read somewhere earlier today that it was a total of three that chided Trump and lost their seat. I feel there are quite a few more that need to go including Paul Ryan the traitor. Oh, by the way, I heard today that Paul was going to fight to stop the wall from being built although he believes in living behind a wall to protect himself and his family.

    How Trump Won.
I was just hearing a commentator explain how Trump won the electoral vote. He simply worked harder on the ground than Clinton did. He made more stops in more states, shook more hands and spoke with more people in their home towns. He was in Wisconson, for instance. Hillary never even visited there, she simply assumed she would win there. He went there, and spent time talking with people. it worked, it gave him the edge in those states. That's how he won. Good old fashion whistle stop politics...it's rather refreshing, really.
I remember when we had the flooding in Baton Rouge. Trump came, he showed up and shook hands, talked to people about what they were going through. It was all show, really, I saw the video. But still, where was Clinton? Even Obama didn't come until much later. He probably had to, because of Trump, might not have otherwise. But Trump made him look bad.
Meanwhile, Clinton was the 'expert', had so much experience and was so sophisticated about campaigning she lost sight of what the fundamental is in elections, connect with the electorate. Trump understood that perfectly. She was wrapped up in the other stuff, the ads and coordinating all the support people out in the field. She forgot that she was the one running for office. She was the one who needed to connect with the people, not through the media or campaign volunteers. That made her aloof. I remember them saying how she had campaign headquarters set up in all these states where Trump had none. But Trump must have gone to those places personally, and that turned out to be worth a whole lot more. While she was out raising money for her campaign, Trump was actually campaigning. That was probably the difference

In Hillary's speech, she said the glass ceiling wasn't broken. If Trump switches his gender identity to female will the ceiling be broken and we have our first female president? Asking for a friend....
