I have owned just about every modern handgun. I have owned all the popular calibers and from service sized to sub compact. I don't drink the glock kool aid, but my 17 is the only one I kept. Any of your "plastic fantastics", will be a good choice. I'm sure that a lemon pops up time and again bit I have never experianced any malfunctions that were not caused by myself or the ammo. I loved my p345 by ruger, just not enough rounds.
After that they all seem to be about the same. Pick which works for you and practice, often. Keep it clean and use quality ammo and all should be well.
