The Berry Chantilly cake is awesome, the pizza is always good. The other items are hit/miss. I don't see a no gun sign when I go ��

I do know this fact: they will not prosecute shoplifters, they simply "ban" them from the store. ???

And I do know they pay well.

I have friends that work there.

Did you go to the New Orleans store?

The Metairie store also has the anti-gun sign.

I had their pizza with some coworkers a few months ago in Metry. It was about as good as the stuff they serve to 2nd graders. I typically only buy beer there. I think beer and wine are the only non-Whole Foods branded items there.

Seriously though... Liz's and Rusty Pelican would be my lunch choices before I ever eat anything from Whole Farts again.

Liz's bbq shrimp poboy is worth fighting over. Never had a bad meal at the Rusty Pelican.

Whole foods prices are obscene. The Chantilly cake is awesome though- I wish someone else would make it!

I don't spend a lot of time on the northshore but ended up at the Rusty Pelican last week- Really good shrimp po-boy!

We don't go there a good deal, but they do have some good produce, cooked food, and meat. The only problem I have with them is their stance on guns.

Well, duh. Rusty Pelican is my jam. I don't think I'd ever go to WF for lunch, but it's nice to be able to grab something decent while getting sex cake.

Dorignacs has a great liquor and wine selection, I'm not sure about their beer.
