I just picked up 500 rounds of 5.56 federal for 138.75 plus tax in Huntsville, Alabama and there was plenty at the gun store I was at.
What is the name of the store and do they have a website???

Moral of the story is...if you need it, buy 6 months ago.
on stripper clips is the thing for me. Ill pay a little extra for them. Loading mags without kills my hands after a while, and takes forever.
With the way ammo is going (especially surplus), I'm tempted to start buying cans of 5.45x39 even though I don't own a AK74 yet.

An obstacle to stockpiling for me would be the fact that I'll probably move in a year or so. Anyone have any experiences moving an ammo stockpile to a new residence? Do the movers look at you funny?
Cruised thru Bullets and Bow's around 13:30 this evening and did note that he has several case's of 9mm and 40 in stock...
Ask about price's and this is pretty much it...
9mm.Fed.270.00
Independence 230.00
Estute,220.00
40 cal.Fed.370.00
Ind.350.00
I have no idea if this will help the one's looking for ammo....I reload and only buy what i need for this hobby...
I did ask about .223 and the Owner told me that he's having a hard time finding it...That is all...
It is not hard to figure out why he still has ammunition in stock.
