You know, we've had a few good pro-gun liberals here. Penguin comes to mind. Maybe we should try to convert some of their readership instead of just getting banned? I mean they are gun owners and if we can get them to vote 2A they'll be conservatives in no time. Just a thought. Not quite as much fun I have to admit....

How can they sit there and say they are pro-gun while gargling with the horse **** they spout as they tow the party line for the douchebag democrats.

Reading just small snippits of that drivel gave me heartburn.

    Misguided imbiciles!

Since they let you directly upload files, let’s all post as many huge photos & videos as we can. No sense letting all their storage space go to waste!

    What have I started???? :exnbp:

I just want to state that I did NOT post these links for trolling purposes....In no way do I condone purposeful trolling of other forums...

I thought it might make for interesting reading for those so inclined to do so...

Sometimes it's interesting to see how the "other side" thinks...esp. when it comes to 2A rights, issues, etc...

I'm not really sure what the goal is with all this. I've been a member of BS for some time now and I've never seen this level of nonsense before. We're members of this board because we like it here; it's got a marketplace, good discussions, informative reviews, etc. Trolling another forum is stupid, child-like behavior. Anyone who is pro-gun ownership, regardless of their political affiliation, should be alright with us.

That's just it.....pro-gun & liberal cancel each other out.

I'm more curious than anything, and I plan to join their forum. Also, to be perfectly honest, I'm not going to lie about who I am, what I believe, and where I'm from in my introductory post. I also plan to be polite about it too....maybe I'll be a punching bag, or I'll be banned....maybe I can make a valid observation here or there as well.

I expect to be eventually banned for not fitting in....not for trolling.

I would agree with you on the whole "Pro-gun" sentiment. But if you take a gander at some of their off topic discussions, there are people talking about how great Obama this and that, there was one that was celebrating the censorship of some soldiers FB speech, and on and on.

You cannot be willing to say you believe in "Pro-gun" 2nd Amendment issues and then start salivating at the thought of the pretender winning another term or the democrats taking back this and that, and all the other nonsense they are talking about.

I would bet you the vast majority of those morons that think they are so open minded because they like or think they like guns, will vote for those democratic sheepherders without so much as an inkling of pause as to which party favors less freedom in general and much worse, less gun ownership freedoms.

    It's just ridiculous!

At first I thought "WHY!" also. Then I read some of the posts. This one in particular:

    http://www.theliberalgunclub.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=12779

Very telling is a post by Grizzled Veteran about the Pink Pistols: "Early 00s is when I checked in to them. Unwelcoming creepy gay conservatives. I certainly wouldn't paint every chapter with that brush, but there sure wasn't no mohawked boys in combat boots and tutus or chicks rockin' the brylcream and bowling shirts. It was very Log Cabin."

I always thought Libs LOVED to say how "open minded" they were, but alas, they are just hateful bigots, just like the people they accuse of being hateful bigots. And this guy is gay himself. He doesn't care that the Pinks are a fellow Gay gun organization, only that they are "Creepy gay conservatives". So much for reaching across the aisle.

I mean, I consider myself to be slightly left of center, and I'm here. I'm not gonna argue with any of you about politics, because that's not why I'm here. Suffice it to say, I think our political system would be far more effective if we were to abandon the two party system and let every candidate run only on his/her own merit. I don't believe in any of the politicians we have working "for us" currently, be they Democrat or Republican. Anyone who honestly thinks these politicians are worried about anything other than stuffing their own pockets and those of their contributors is sadly mistaken.

That being said, I don't think the Republicans can win the next election with Mitt Romney. I would have preferred to see Ron Paul run, because he understands what the constitution is about: Freedom from government oppression. I think if you give some of these guys a chance (and I'm sure there are those who are ridiculously loyal to the (D) Party) you may find you have more in common with them than you think.

Doubtful! There is absolutly no way to refute or disprove that Republicans and Independents are considerably more favorable to gun rights and the 2nd Amendment than phony Democrats. People who vote for Democrats cannot claim they are doing it in the name of perserving individual gun rights. Like Mary Landrieu, some are in states that show overwhelming support for gun rights and thus, they are obliged to support them. But just like Landrieu, as soon as those POS need to vote for some ideological agenda driven garbage like pretendercare, look how fast they sell out every one and everything to get it done.

BTW: I hate ALL politicians. ;)

I believe we are at the point, as a nation, where we need a complete reboot in Washington. Both the political parties have their merits, but they are so busy jockeying for position that the needs of the citizens are often put on the back burner in favor of towing the party line with nonsense legislation. They have forgotten why their jobs exist, and it isn't to serve themselves or their party.

This is quite telling in the thinking there-

"I am still not sure the 2nd Ammendment sayd=s all should be armed but I am sure it says all liberals sd=should be armed!"

    Taken from here-

    http://www.theliberalgunclub.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11975&start=120

Written by a poster who describes himself as "liberal, socialist, gun totin' white man"

    No allies there my friends!

I've been here a few years and I have NEVER heard anyone on here say "Guns should only be for conservatives and/or Republicans". Seems like we (as a whole) have no problem with ANYONE having the right to own a gun.

I don't care if they ARE pro 2A . If Nancy Pelosi owned a gun , would that make her any less dangerous to this country ?

I think we've all been punked here. The entire site is nothing but one big troll that has managed to suck us in rather than have to come find us.

I care nothing for anyone's political affiliation, level of bigotry, education, self-righteousness, or moral compass. If it had been a situation where the gun forum in question had come to BS and began railing against our individual or collective opinions, beliefs, or viewpoints, then I could probably at least empathize with so many of us getting upset at their audacity. But it seems that we're getting upset at their very EXISTENCE and we're seeking out their opposing viewpoints so we can find reasons to be disgusted with them and trill their boards, which is foolish and immature. Wether or not I agree with anyone's opinions, I will always behave like an adult.
