Yeah, pretty loud with russian ammo. Can't buy subsonic, so I don't know... You can't shoot it off in the backyard. But it's got about a half inch muzzle jump and you can shoot it without ears. So it's more tacticool than practicool.

With subsonic you should only hear the rifle action and the impact.

I took the suppressor off and shot it without ears once just to compare. The difference is without the suppressor, it rattled my eardrums. With the suppressor, it was just an extremely loud sonic crack farther away from the gun. If you wanna be a sniper without subsonic, you better have a fast getaway vehicle and only need one shot.

It's 5.56. I don't reload. I saw discussions on subsonic reloads but I never got past pistol reloads years back on my reloader. I don't even remember how to use it or know what's missing.

I already have it on low for my russian ammo. Won't cycle without it. I guess I didn't say that the gun shoots fine with the new suppressor!
