After reading the comments, it's pretty apparent it does little good to speak rationally to a good portion of the population. The sheriff should have broken out a bullhorn.

I can only make it so far into FB comments before I just get pissed off. Thank god I have enough self control not to argue with those idiots. I may as well just try talking to a wall.

As I sit here shaking my head, I have no trouble believing it is more than a few. These (insert insult here) get their news second, third, or fourth hand. They don't know to fact check.

so Gasser's 10 hour of interviews without an attorney present are not completely matching up with some key witness statements....hence the arrest

here's a summary of events I got from the interview

altercation started on/around crescent city connection, mcknight cut off gasser, gasser admitted to following mcknight, engaged each other while driving, yelling etc for a while, they come up to a redlight and gasser gets in front of mcknight at the redlight, mcknight pulls around at the right side and comes to stop (even) with gasser car, gasser is hemmed in and cannot retreat anywhere due to cars in front, rear and side of him, the windows are rolled down, verbal altercation while both still in car, mcknight leaves his car and goes to gasser's car, continues to be verbal fighting, at some point gasser pulls him gun from bt seat and console and fires 3 shots at mcknight..killing him

Sounds like a likely outcome. Sounds like to fools got out of hand. If you get out of your car and proceed to stand next to mine to proceed to "argue" I would feel threatened because if talk is all you got for me you can do that in your car. And with a big NFL playing man the threat would be pretty credible. I'm going with play stupid games win stupid prize for both of these guys.

Then the obviously marginally more intelligent fukwit #1 decides that he gon keeps it real, son! Fukwit #2 puts rounds into fukwit#1 right smack dab in the middle of " real "in the process of being "kept." Then, not to be outdone by fukwit#1's fukwittedness, fukwit #2 has a leisurely 10 hour gabfest without an attorney present. Am I pretty much up to date?
