Since no one else has said it, I'll be the prick. Aren't we past the deadline? All but one have sent in funds. All but one are waiting for lowers. Can we send the order?
I understand wanting to give the guy a chance, but I'd never expect anyone to hold up a group this big for me.

The order will get placed today. Our Final total was 56
    Read my last post.

Death in the family [ out of state ] and I was gone most of last week.
Just got back Monday, which I spent working my ass off trying to catch up what's important in my life.

Vince thank you for all your efforts. Could you please post address and possibly directions to the pickup point.
    jim

From what I understand we are picking up at Geaux Shootin in Prairieville but it's probably going to take a few weeks before they are ready.

I don't think he meant to aim that toward you.
You are correct sir. To rile anyone or seem ungrateful was not my plan. Only to spur the last in line.

Vince, thanks a bunch for taking the time and stepping up to make a group buy this big happen. I do understand the effort involved and appreciate it. I don't think many folks trying to run a business would go that far.
    Apologies for appearing ungrateful.

I just dropped off the Priority mail box to Joe Bob's
Alan does it out of his house,
Ill get the address and post a nice pic here in a few.

Joe Bob thinks 2 to 3 weeks is a realistic time. So Lets say 3 weeks.

Its all good Headspace. Had I not left last week, they would have mailed. And yes when I returned, I did wait 2 more days.
But the good news Is its in the mail as of a few hours ago.

Ill have more good news here in a few.

Ill post the details and prices on the Hammer Forged uppers from PSA.
This is NOT to compete with Joe Bobs at ALL.
This is to offer up something a little different, so please no one get offended by it or take it the wrong way.
With the upper GP's, there is not gonna be much variety. Basically we have to pick either / or with these first agreements.

Looks like if we want different calibers, were gonna have to get together and approach someone with our arms open.

hopefully the PSA uppers are cheaper :o no offense but i don't feel right putting a $450 upper on a $100 lower.

Because of available stock, the cheaper units are sold out.
The Hammer forged barrels do cost more, and our only available option. I think the price is gonna be in the same ball park.
Only real difference is gonna be the barrels.
Im still waiting myself for the news.

JoeBob just learned me that it must be his house. or exactly where the lowers are being sent to.
Makes sense. I don't think allen would have given me an[ his] address if not, he OBVIOUSLY knows the law like Joseph does.

If anyone decides they need the money instead of their lowers I will cover your costs and take your spot on the list. I need to watch the forums more often, I hate to have missed out on this.

I'll PM u if my buddy decides he don't want the one I bought in his stead. I usually have his proxy on such occaisions and my backup plan was to just enjoy another cheap lower if he didn't want it.

Just an FYI, ALL of these 2nd group-buy lowers will be the "GenII" with upgraded parts:

*GenII Lowers feature newly redesigned pivot and takedown pins for more strength and will not pull out, along with redesigned fire control group that will not allow safety to be engaged with hammer forward.

In the near future the original 2000 New Frontier out there will be getting a FREE upgrade to GenII Components. That's a pretty generous offer, IMO, considering they are not necessarily "Needed" functional upgrade, but are a nice to have upgrade. We'll post up details on our website, send a newsletter, and on here, when things get finalized. Basically the parts will be free, but customers would be responsible for shipping. They will of course be able to be tossed in a box with orders for no additional cost. If lowers were bought through us they'll be eligible to get upgrade kits from us free. If they were bought direct from NFA, or another distributor, they will need to go back through NFA to receive the parts as I understand it currently. We can always toss in extra upgrade kits for you and a friend, etc if one guy is ordering, we'd just need to have a 1 for 1, basically, per serial number. We'll set it up so customers can record what serial numbers are receiving the upgrade so we can keep track of it on our end.

We'll also have for sale the "upgrade kit" for a cost (unsure at this time) for people to upgrade their Plum Crazy lowers.
