      5 year vs Lifetime. What's the advantage

      If you have to recertify every 5 years what's the advantage of paying $500 for a Lifetime permit. Upfront you pay for 20 years worth, so perhaps if you're a young man I guess you could save a few bucks in the long run. Is there any other advantage?

      9mm Steel casing ammo

      Have a 9mm Shield. Currently an ammo shortage and shopping around for some range ammo, I found some Winchester Steel Casing 9mm. I've never used those and wonder how they would perform in a S&W Shield. All I've ever used was brass casing. Thanks

      Hand Gun purchase- Delay runs out in 2 days. Looking for local dealer

      This is ridiculous, I've bought 3 handguns in the past, all on delay but was able to pick them up in 5 days. I bought one on Jan 1 from Bass Pro in Denham Springs. Again delayed, however now they don't honor the Brady law and wait until they receive paperwork to move forward with the transfer...

      More delayed transfers lately?

      I've purchased 3 handguns and all delayed. However, I was able to pick up within 7 days. I bought one on Jan 1st from Bass Pro, again delayed. Here it is 25 days later and still not able to pick it up. Bass Pro no longer honors the Brady Law and waits until they get a written approval back.
