      bed or dont bed bell and carlson stock

      So while ritten has my bolt installing a new bolt knob I broke down and ordered a bell and carlson light tactical stock. I have been thinking would it be worth it to skim bed the stock with the aluminium block or just bolt it in and go? Just hoping that it will get my groups a little farther...

      10/22 hammer trigger and sear (match)

      So i have a match hammer and target trigger along with an adjustable sear. Hammer does not have the bushings and it was all bought with the aluminum lower in mind not sure what all is changed in the new lowers. 50 for all of them

      had to send in my xd today

      Well today I noticed my xd was having a slight malfunction. If you pulled the trigger all the way without the grip safety pushed in it would not fire but if you let off the trigger all you had to do was push in the grip safety and it would drop the firing pin.       stock change worth it?

      So I been tossing around the idea of a new stock for my rem 700 ctrl so I can get rid of the cheap plastic feeling stock on it. It is shooting 3/4-1" groups with hsm match ammo now and 1-1 1/4 groups with hunting ammo. Question is how much would a choates or bell and Carlson medalist stock help...

      how much should case expand in chamber?

      I have been shooting some 165 bthp target ammo thru my rem 700 .308 and it seems to require a little extra to extract this round then my standard 150 federal I have been shooting. Should this be a concern or is it just the higher pressure of the new round?

      house broken into

      Well come home thursday from a rain out at work sit around till 11 when to have my eyes checked and come backs about 2 to an open front door and 2 tvs and a laptop gone. So I really recommend everyone to lock up as this seems to be common around here this time of the year.

      223 upper

      What upper are y'all running for mid to far distance. 300-600 yards. I know everyone is getting into 1/8 twist but who has a good upper that's reasonable? Should be picking up a lower in a few days and trying to see what y'all are running since there are a good bit of ar guys on here.

      lee turret press

      Would this be an ok press to start out with? Found one used for 50 bucks a guy is getting out if reloading. Anything to look out for or anything of that nature?
