I had the opportunity to look through a Leupold VX-III 8.5-25 x 50 with VH Reticle.
I liked it a lot.
That NF looks good on Sniper Hide, but I really want Side Focus.
I'm going to get to see through a Vortex PST really soon.
But its a MOA knob and mil reticle. I whole heartedly agree with matching the knobs and the ret, but sometimes you gotta compromise. I have shot comps with a Leupy 6.5-20 x 50 with a Premier Reticle (mils) and MOA knobs and it only screwed me up once. Not optimal, but doable. If you ever get mad at the knobs you can send the scope and a few hundred dollard to NF and they will fix it for you
Don't buy the NF KZ45 refered to that is a BR model and they are limited in elevation adjustment that could come into play at 1K, out to say 600 it wouldn't matter. If you go NF only get one of the NXS models, they have the parallax adjustment on the side.
Danny you will like the PST I picked one up a couple of weeks ago. Jim Clark JR came out to the farm and wanted to make a 1000 yard shot doing a demonstration of some sort for some people. He and I started talking about glass and he asked what I had and told him Vortex Viper PST. Long story short he is sponsored by them and by the way he had both the Viper PST and the Razor HD on hand and said he loved them both. I made a good choice. Good Luck!
