Keith2, I think you misunderstand the purpose of this knife run.
This will not be a "promotional" knife to be given out so that we can get the Bayoushooter name out.
This is a nice collectible or EDC knife that Bayoushooter members can personalize, as a group, and get at a substantial discount.

Awesome... Sounds like a great opportunity for collectors. Just trying to help...

Ahhh. Well I see your problem now. Some of us have $100, 200, 300, 400, 500+ knives and use them daily.

For the record, none of my knives are collectible. The picture of all those PM2's are not mine, I was proving a point...

Plain edge is only type of edge I will purchase.
Manbug is interesting, fixedblade enuff is also nice.
The ARK neck knife is also one I would be consider. It is H1 steel and
    CAN NOT RUST!

I picked up a kershaw recently for about $25. Its not of the same quality as a spyderco by any stretch. Not a bad knife for $25, don't get me wrong, but its not a spyderco, even their bottom of the line. My ladybug is much better made and I paid less for it.
I tend to loose pocket knives, which is why I haven't fully committed to this. It'll depend on timing and budget (do I have $100 that I don't have anything better to spend it on, like ammo, Christmas presents, etc.).

So far, about 100 interested according to the poll. Obvs some of these won't actually buy, many people who didn't respond to the poll will buy, and some people who buy will order multiple knives. Plus the ~100 spyderco collector folks who have one forced upon them, and then all of the non BSers who will pick one up.

Most seem interested in PM2, black and green like the last one. A handful of random requests, and a small contingent of emerson followers.

I wonder how much interest we need... does BS get the same traffic that it used to?

Not a wave feature fan, and I am really not all that fond of turtles but that seamed to be the best answer. I already have an endure or 3. A manix 2 lw with GITD scales like the EDCforums knife would be cool,Just saying...

The original poll had about 350 saying they would buy.

I don't think BS gets the same "posting" traffic as it used to, but there are a lot more members now. A little OT, but I think the economy and classified changes made that happen.

I'd say BS site is way down compares to when the first buy occurred

Yeah it feels like a lot fewer posters here than before.

The membership grows with each added member but I think a lot of them have come and gone.

I'm definitely in for one or two, but I'm very partial to the wave feature and a combo edge if possible. I use my combo edge Emerson daily and it's priceless to have the serated edge to cut misc. crap and still have a nice sharp plain edge for something specific.

Seems there are a large number of voters that aren't interested, not surprisingly.

We also have a good bit of turtle lovers.
