I just feel that the socialist have won on a small level by dividing and hurting the little guys the hard working Americans by convincing people that we should be punished. This doesn't hurt anyone but me and my team and franchise the ones standing for what we believe in but still being shunned by other hard working Americans. Our ultimate goal is protecting our second amendment rights and making our guests comfortable there by effecting the people who are actually standing and speaking out so we as free enterprise entrepreneurs the corner stone of what we are fighting for. If this happens they have won.

    No, it doesn't.

If you're old enough to remember the one on Decatur Street in the French Quarter, you would agree with me.

I do, but the last two times I've been there the wings were crap, and the last time I stopped in there for lunch, it wasn't crowded and took almost an hour to get our food. After that I haven't been back.

That sign looks like it was corporate designed. They may not demand it but I bet they supply it. Look at that sign again, do you really think a local vinyl lettering shop would put the copyright on it?

Last time I went to BWW, we had a $900 tab between the 5 of us, she received over $250 in cash tips, and she still felt the urge to "fix" my tip with my card by adding another $100...(checked bank statement). Never been back after that.

When I first heard about this a while back, I remembered seeing this on a gun forum based out of Indiana.

    Hello

Buffalo Wild Wings respects the right of individuals to carry firearms but we do not believe they are appropriate inside of a public restaurant. We are focused on the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all of our guests and have elected to exercise our right to restrict the carrying of firearms in our restaurants. We regret any inconvenience this may cause but believe that this policy is in the best interest of all of our guests and our Team Members.

    Kind Regards,

    This^^^

Their food sucks, their service sucks, and their corporate police sucks! They will never get a penny from me and that monstrosity they built in Metairie could be better used as a parking lot or a bank of PortOPotties.

One simple question- do you really believe if a "bad guy" encounters your cute little sign, they will turn around and rob the place next door since they have no sign? Or will it be a good thing for him, knowing there are no Concealed Handgun permit holders carrying so he is free to do as he pleases? Okay, two questions.

The good thing is, those tools aren't exactly the "only game in town"- not by a longshot.

I mean come the frick on- they're Chicken Wings- not Beluga caviar. Everybody & their brother sells wings....Screw BWW. :dunno:

Did anything happen to the employee that refused to serve these guys? The statements from the manager make me believe that the employee acted on their own with this.

If it is anything like my job, The employees were probably doing exactly as they were trained to do, and the manager starts throwing people under the wheels of the doo-doo bus when things get hairy.

I'm thinking either that happened, or that employee made a decision that happened to be against the policy in place at that particular location.

I've never seen a sign on the Lafayette BWW on Ambassador/Kaliste Saloom.

I don't disarm if I'm just eating in the restaurant area. Only do if I'm drinking at the bar. I like BWW. /shrug

I don't have cable, so sometimes if I want to watch a Cardinals game, live, that's blacked-out by MLB online, I'll go watch it at BWW. I might pay $20-30 for the beer and food, depending on how much I eat, which isn't bad at all.

    New to all this ....

    but ....

Isn't it State law that you can't carry into an place that serves alcohol for consumption there

G-runner, since you are new; there's no reason to throw you to the wolves. But trust me; there are at least 50 threads in the archives that not only explains the answer to your query to a great extent; they burn it, beat it into the ground, then have them Exorcised! ;)

    "Use the search, Luke!"

    Welcome!
