BATON ROUGE — Gov. Jeff Landry wants athletes from state-run colleges and universities to be present for the national anthem before their contests, even though many of their teams have traditionally been in their locker rooms before the games for last-minute instructions.

Jeff Landry has my vote and my approval! Except for them wanting to be able to withhold information/documents!

HB 959 has made no progress. The Nursery and Retail industry is afraid of it because they think it will free up too much competition. Even Libertarians I told were like "OHNOMYPROFITS!"...sorry but requiring a license to plant trees and vegetable gardens (*edit* for other people) is absurd and unethical/immoral/too mich government.
