In the 38 years as a PO in 97% of the cases she either bonded him out of jail, got family to bond him out of jail or dropped charges. I personally know of ONE case where the woman went back but turned the tables on her abuser. She used a steam iron on him and when he called the police to have her arrested I took him to jail for the 20+ cases of past abuse on her and gave her a big pat on the back and told her what a fine job she had done! He never abused her again (I would go by the house and visit her and the kids)
