Ok, I understand that. To each their own and no problems with that. Now tell me why someone who, has a legitimate/legal reason, uses Marijuana... Why should they not be able to legally defend themselves?

Because they're a user of an illegal narcotic. Just because it's prescribed to them the US Government still recognizes it as an illegal drug.

Furthermore, any incapacitated person is dangerous with a firearm.

Ok, so you think someone who is in pain, that takes prescribed meds, they shouldn't be legally able to defend themselves?

If someone is incapacitated/intoxicated they shouldn't be handling a firearm. Do you want your neighbor who's on pain pills shooting at noises and sending bullets through your house? I don't and I don't want anyone to have that problem.

There are a lot of people, a lot are probably friends/family that take substances for pain. Should they be stripped of their gun rights?

    Talking about legally prescribed...

No, they shouldn't be playing with guns.

If you go to the shooting range and the people next to you are smoking weed, are you going to stay there?

I might worry at times about meth head neighbors but, no I don't worry that normal people taking pain medication will start hearing and seeing things and start shooting at them. Nor do I think any normal Marijuana user would do so.

No, I wouldn't want to be incriminated just by being there.

And for the record I have been both $hitfaced drunk and so high I was worried everone would know I'm that high. Anyone want to guess which one made me a bigger liability? Again I'm a resposible adult these days.
