Netflix streaming recomendation thread.

If you don't mind subtitles here are some award wining foreign movies that are just fantastic.
"Oldboy" starts weird but trust me you will be blown away.
"I saw the devil"
"The man from nowhere"
"The hunt"
"A gang story" a French gypsie gangster movie. It's awesome
"The girl with the dragon tattoo" trilogy. Not chick flicks like some people think.
"Hara-kiri death of a samurai"
"13 assassins"

Speaking of subtitled movies, City of God was awesome. Not a religious movie by any stretch, it's about gangs in the slums of Rio.

I liked that one so much I have it on DVD. I don't have cable and live alone so I've seen a ton of movies. Foreign and domestic. There was as sequel to it with different characters, wasn't that good.

I've seen so much now I'm a very tough critic.

yup. I was afraid the subtitles would throw me off, but once i go past the 10 minute mark my mind adjusted and forgot they were there.

Just finished watching Devil as recommended from the original post. I definitely enjoyed it, glad it was recommended. Now I am watching The possession which was recommended by Netflix after Devil was over.

I just started watching Weeds. The opening song is annoying as hell, but I like the show so far.

We accidentally started watching a series called "Arrow". It's kinda light and silly, but the (super) hero shoots a bow and arrow at bad guys after being trained by a ninja guy after being deserted on an island for 5 years.... you get the picture. Entertaining in a weird way.

Everything mentioned above is good. Try Attack on Titan if you haven't tried any anime yet. A lot of the other titles are goofball ecchi/harem stuff on Netflix that I wouldn't recommend but AoT is all action.

I watched "Carlos" last night. About the guy that did the OPEC raid in the 70's. It was very good. It's half English half subtitles.

So I finished Dexter.

I don't like how they ended it but it leaves me questioning whether or not it's really over.

Now I'm trying to find some new shows to watch from the beginning. Might go through Rescue Me, Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy haha.

Someone told me to start watching House of Cards too.

I did watch Blackfish the other night, and honestly, it was exactly what I expected it to be.
