Cheap camera systems use odd formats that have to be converted to a standard format.
Basically all you do is import it to MovieMaker, or any video editing software, and save as a format the YouTube can use. Then just upload it.

Ok! This operation may be on hold. I don't have any of that stuff on my computer. :mamoru:

Let me see how much disk space MS Movie Maker needs! I'm on limited resources on my computer. :dunno:

Emperor, slapping a dvr tag on your betamax ain't going to cut it.

Most security camera DVRs use odd file formats. That way you have to use their software to view it.

Yep. That's how most camera manufacturers set up their software. Look at Sony and their "i-Link" cable; It's a 1990's firewire cable rebranded when everyone else is using micro USB.

Do you use DropBox or something similar?

If so you can send me the file and I should have time to do it today. Right now it's kind of slow, but in my work yo never know when that will change.

Appears to me on a 32' 1080 monitor with one blind eye to be a set of big deer horns but I'm a hunter.

    Oooo, I see it now.

Well, it's certain he's wearing a hoodie and has a backpack.

I'm guessing he's white, because otherwise, I'd be a racist :mamoru:

This is the kind of stuff I needed. Thanks!

See, I kind of sorta think this is a kid in the neighborhood. He was way too calm about going in and out of people's driveways.

You'd be surprised. My parents' neighborhood in Hammond was hit up a while back and their cameras show very clearly who it was and once the police got involved they found it was people from some surrounding neighborhoods walking around on the inside of the gated community. They snuck in somehow and were pretty calm about walking around checking people's doors. They was all up in my sisters truck but luckily she didn't have anything worth stealing in it.

Doesnt supprise me a bit. Bet if one got gunned down they would post pics of them as children and claim they were walking back from the store.
